Import duties & taxes

Orders that are shipped to countries outside of Singapore may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; Lodge & King have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you may want to contact your local customs office for further information. When customs procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery time estimates.

Lodge & King will use its best endeavors to keep all your personal information confidential (“information”). We are committed to handle this information with care and in accordance with  international law.

The information you have registered with us is used for delivery and customer service purposes only and in some cases to send or email you promotional material such as newsletters. You can elect not to be sent any promotional material if you wish.

All payment information is protected via secure and encrypted internet connection and SSL technology is used to protect all personal and payment information. Force Majeure (“Act of God”)

In case of force majeure these terms and conditions can either be considered as judicially cancelled with neither you or Lodge & King being entitled to any compensation or the delivery time(s) can be extended with the currency of the force majeure. Lodge & King considers force majeure as: war, mobilisation, terror acts, blockade stagnation of work, transport obstructions, measures of commercial policy, new or amended legislation, strikes, the non-delivery or non due deliveries of the Goods by suppliers to Lodge & King, natural catastrophes and any circumstances, events and circumstances that are beyond our control.
